SOLUTIONS YOU CAN SEE...
...SAFETY YOU CAN COUNT ON.
Why wait until darkness or other low light conditions threaten the ability of your workers to exit the facility safely in an emergency condition? Lumatrax II or Lumatrax SMC coatings can provide your company with one of the best exit marking systems in the industry. Designed to meet the tough new ASTM standards, these products can glow up to 4 hours to the dark adapted eye, and recharge in minutes with exposure to artificial light sources. We urge you to test Lumatrax systems against the competition.

Lumatrax II
Luminescent Anti-Slip Floor Coating
LUMATRAX II is an interior phosphorescent, waterborne, acrylic polymer anti-slip floor and deck coating. It is designed as a safety coating for pedestrian grade traffic in areas of low illumination or emergency egress. Formulated to meet or exceed the glow properties defined in ASTM-E2072 “Standard Specification for Photo luminescent Safety Markings”, it will glow for up to 4 hours to the dark-adapted eye.
LUMATRAX II safety coating is easy to apply, dries quickly and offers optimum adhesion to asphalt, concrete, wood, and metal surfaces. It is a water-based coating so clean up is fast and inexpensive.
LUMATRAX II can be used straight out of the can as needed and then resealed for later use.
LUMATRAX II LUMINESCENT ANTI-SLIP FLOOR COATING
Lumatrax II will not only create an illuminated exit path, but will also provide a safe anti-slip surface even under wet or oily conditions. Based on a water-based, single component, elastomeric acrylic polymer, Lumatrax II provides a tough, sealed surface that is specially formulated for pedestrian traffic.

Lumatrax SMC
Acrylic Safety Marking Coating
LUMATRAX SMC is a single component, water-based acrylic coating. This phosphorescent photoluminescent coating is designed for the marking of aisle ways, doorways, handrails, basements, tunnels, around machinery, stairwells, emergency exits, or any passageway which needs to be identified in the event of an emergency when no other light source is available. When exposed to artificial light, LUMATRAX SMC glows to illuminate the safe passageway of an exit. Formulated to meet or exceed the glow properties defined in ASTM E2072 “Standard Specification for Photoluminescent Safety Markings”, it will glow up to four hours to the dark-adapted eye.
LUMATRAX SMC SAFETY MARKING COATING
Lumatrax is the ideal coating to provide your employees with easily seen exit markings. When electric signs aren't practical and tapes just won't hold up, Lumatrax gives you a versatile option. Easily applied to door frames, handrails, curbs, or obstructions, this water-based acrylic system is compatible with most existing finishes.

Notes:
- 1. As glow-in-the-dark materials are not exceptionally UV stable by nature, these products are recommended for areas with low UV exposure.
- 2. The brightest glow of non-radioactive photo luminescent coatings is within the first hour of darkness (depending upon the initial light source and intensity) and will continue to glow for up to four hours to the dark-adapted eye. The glowing characteristics appear different when re-entering into total darkness and depends upon light intensity and the individual.
- 3. ASTM E 2072-00 (2002) is the Standard Specification for Photoluminescent (Phosphorescent) Safety Markings. ASTM E 2030-02 is a guide for placement of safety marking. For detailed test results for Lumatrax II and Lumatrax SMC systems, please contact our customer service department. For more information on these tests, please visit the American Society for Testing and Materials at www.astm.org.
- 4. Testing methods may vary from your actual service conditions, and performance of the product may be different as well. Minimum film builds and white primers are required, see technical bulletin for more detail.
