Prep & Application Technique for AS-150
|
PS-100 WB Primer/Sealer
Specially formulated to increase adhesion of our coatings on porous floors, such as concrete, wood and tile. Our water-based, low-odor primer/sealer yields a tough, long-lasting surface.
MS-7CZ Industrial Metal Primer
This two-part, epoxy-polyamide primer is required prior to application of our anti-slip coatings over metal. It provides maximum adhesion, toughness and corrosion resistance, with-standing even salt and chemical attack.

The Right Tools for the Job.
Application of these products is made easy with a speciality sprayer or specialized easy-to-use rollers available from American Safety Technologies. Our napless, phenolic-resin coated, core roller is essential for creating the correct anti-slip profile. The 9" roller cage is built for rugged use. Our heavy-duty fiberglass extension handle allows you to pull the coating towards you with the correct downward pressure. The stainless-steel mixing blade is indispensable for thoroughly blending anti-slip coatings.
See the technical data sheet for complete prep & application techniques.

NASA'S ENGINEERS GET AN ENGINEERED SOLUTION.
NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building is the immense “clean room” where the space shuttle is built. Obviously, sand-in-paint wouldn’t meet NASA’s high-tech standards. In fact, NASA’s requirements for the anti slip coating to cover the Vehicle Assembly Building’s galvanized steel floors and walkways were so stringent and state-of-the art that the right coating did not exist—until we created it. Everyone agrees it’s out of this world.
