AS-2500 Anti-Slip Coating

This extra heavy-duty, chemically-resistant, two-component, 100% solids, zero-VOC, low-oder epoxy with Kevlar® has the same incredible strength as our AS-550. But its zero-VOC formula makes it perfect for indoor use in food processing and preparation areas, meat packing and poultry operations, breweries, wineries, bakeries, bottling plants and hospitals or any confined, low-ventilation or spark-sensitive area.

Available Colors: Gray, Black,
Tile Red, and Safety Yellow.

MS-7CZ Industrial Metal Primer

This two-part, epoxy-polyamide primer is required prior to application of our anti-slip coatings over metal. It provides maximum adhesion, toughness and corrosion resistance, with-standing even salt and chemical attack.

PS-100 WB Primer/Sealer

Specially formulated to increase adhesion of our coatings on porous floors, such as concrete, wood and tile. Our water-based, low-odor primer/sealer yields a tough, long-lasting surface.

The Right Tools for the Job.

Application of these products are made easy with a professional sprayer or specialized easy-to-use rollers available from American Safety Technologies. Our napless, phenolic-resin coated, core roller is essential for creating the correct anti-slip profile. The 9" roller cage is built for rugged use. Our heavy-duty fiberglass extension handle allows you to pull the coating towards you with the correct downward pressure. The stainless-steel mixing blade is indispensable for throughly blending anti-slip coatings.

THE NAVY CALLS IT A "CONTROLLED CRASH"

The F-14 Tomcats that smash onto the surface of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers in what is so appropriately called a “controlled crash,” are ruthless on the flight deck’s coating. They weigh over 30 tons and slam onto the surface at 170 mph. The exhaust from their afterburners reaches 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit during catapult takeoffs. The most corrosive substances in the world spray onto the deck: jet fuel, Skydrol hydraulic fluid, grease, oil, and salt spray. It also has to withstand ultraviolet rays, terrible storms, extreme heat and cold, and the shock and abrasion of a jet smashing into a tailhook landing. The Navy can’t settle for second best. That’s why they use AST Anti-Slip Coatings.
